Edson Chagas
Angola
Edson Chagas nasceu em Luanda (1977), e vive entre Angola e Portugal. Estudou fotografia na Universidade do País de Gales em Newport, no London College of Communication, na Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação de Portugal e no Centro Comunitário de Arcena.
Em 2013, a sua série Found Not Taken foi exposta em Luanda, no Pavilhão de Angola, na 55ª Bienal de Veneza, tendo ganho o Leão de Ouro para melhor pavilhão nacional. A série foi posteriormente apresentada na exposição inaugural do Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, na Cidade do Cabo (2017).
