PLMJ Foundation and PLMJ support Observador photojournalism exhibition

The PLMJ Foundation and PLMJ are celebrating Observador’s anniversary by supporting the photo exhibition that marks the newspaper’s first decade.

This is 10 years of world history in photographs by Observador photojournalists. It is an exhibition that takes us back in time and brings back the emotion of the moment, as only a good photograph can do.

The Observador 10 Years exhibition is part of the anniversary celebrations and marks a journey and a determination: journalism and photojournalism for people, with people. In this exhibition, Observador brings together and shares more than 80 photographs, videos, texts and, of course, radio. The images have been carefully selected, focusing on a narrative angle that reflects the essence of the Observador project and the way it has observed and revealed the world to its readers and listeners.

Patrícia Reis is the curator of the exhibition, which is open to the public free of charge at the SNBA - National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon until 7 December.

The photographs in the image were taken by photojournalist João Porfírio.
