The AiR 351 residency is back with the support of the PLMJ Foundation and this year’s winner is the artist Lea Menagil, who will be in Cascais from September to December 2024 to develop an artistic project under this grant.
Lea Menagil’s research is based on everyday observations, but also on the study of the symbolism of these elements in different periods and contexts.
AiR 351 is an international and independent artist residency programme in the visual arts, based in Cascais. The main strategic axis of this initiative is the creation and dissemination of an international network of work that allows artists and curators to circulate.
This is the fourth consecutive edition sponsored by the PLMJ Foundation, which in previous years has supported artists Maria Trabulo, Márcio de Carvalho, Alice Miceli and now Lea Menagil.
