Linhas Cruzadas (Crossed Lines) presents a selection of artists and works that have stood out in the context of contemporary art and, above all, in the collection of the PLMJ Foundation, regardless of the artistic field of each author or the context in which they work, whether in Portugal or abroad, within the Lusophone area or in another country where they have found the necessary conditions to develop their work.

Authors
Luís Sáragga Leal (prefácio), João Silvério

In this context, this book presents a series of artists and works that are not grouped by technique or theme, allowing us to cross-reference different means of expression and different moments of the artistic creation collected. The selection presented here does not exhaust the universe of the collection, but allows us to revisit works and different stages of the collection’s development, as well as to encounter more recent acquisitions, such as works by Ana Vidigal, João Grama, Teresa Henriques or Miguel Telles da Gama.
