Victor Palla e Costa Martins

Manuel Costa Martins (Lisbon, 1922) is an architect who graduated from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. His practice also extended to painting and photography, a passion that led him to photograph Lisbon between 1956 and 1959, together with Victor Palla, in a series of works presented at the Galeria do Diário de Notícias, Lisbon, and at the Galeria Divulgação, Porto, under the title Lisboa, Cidade Triste e Alegre, later published in book form by the authors.
