Tiago Baptista

Tiago Baptista (Leiria, 1986) lives and works in Lisbon. He studied Fine Arts at ESAD in Caldas da Rainha.
He has been an artist in residence at Associação Zé dos Bois since 2010 and has participated in residencies at Atelier-Museu António Duarte (2008-2009) and Culturia, Berlin (2013). He was shortlisted for the EDP New Artists Prize (2013) and won the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Acquisition Prize (2015).
Solo exhibitions include Caminho pela Linha da Sombra (CAV, Coimbra, 2022) and Febre (ZDB, Lisbon, 2021). He has participated in group exhibitions such as #slow #stop... #think #move (Fidelidade Arte, 2023) and Entre as Palavras e os Silêncios (2021-2022).
His work is part of collections such as Fundação EDP, Fundação PLMJ, Norlinda e José Lima, António Cachola, and the Municipality of Lisbon.
