Tang Kuok Hou (Macau, 1989) has a degree in sociology from the University of Macau and is the founder of the photography collective Dialect. The artist has participated in more than four dozen exhibitions in Macau and abroad, and has had two solo exhibitions. Exploring themes such as identity, time, memory and local culture, he uses the artificial landscape to explore the relationship between urbanity, landscape and human existence versus nature, and their respective meanings. His work is included in the collections of various local institutions, including the University of Macau, the Orient Foundation, Creative Macau and the Macau Museum of Art.
