Pepe Diniz

Born in Tangier in 1945, he is an American photographer of Portuguese origin. He studied at the Institut de Photographie in Geneva, Switzerland. He worked as a photographer for the Cinémathèque Française. He founded the Bleecker Gallery in New York in 1975. His work is represented in numerous public and private collections, including Centro de Arte Moderna José de Azeredo Perdigão, Lisbon; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Brooklyn Museum, New York; Bibliothèque Nationale de Paris; the Berado Museum, Lisbon; Fundação Luso-Americana, Lisbon; the PLMJ Foundation, Lisbon; Centro de Formação Fotográfica, Maputo.
