Pedro Letria

Pedro Letria (Lisbon, 1955) holds a master's degree in Photography from RISD and a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With a career that includes a Fulbright scholarship, he has been teaching at the School of Art and Design since 2000. Author of eight monographs, his solo exhibitions include: The Portuguese in Lowell - the Familiar and the New (Boott Cotton Mills Museum, Lowell, 2024); Maskirovka (Círculo Sereia, Coimbra, 2017); and Mármore (2007). His participation in group exhibitions includes: Cerco de Lisboa (2024); Portuguese Photo Books (Le Bal, Paris, 2014); and Bienal Foto Rio (2005). His work is included in collections such as those of the PLMJ Foundation and the Brown University Library.
