Orlando Azevedo (Terceira, Azores, 1949) lives in Brazil. A law graduate, he works professionally as a documentary photographer on special projects and as an author in his studio in Curitiba. He is an editor and curator, specialising in expeditions and long-term projects. He uses two heteronyms, Yury Andropov and Jacob Bensabat, to explore other themes within his artistic practice.
