Celestino Mudaulane (Maputo, 1972) has a degree in history from Eduardo Mondlane University and a diploma in ceramics from the School of Visual Arts in 1992. He has been teaching ceramics, drawing and visual education at the same school since 1993. He has taught drawing, arts and crafts and visual education at the Nilia Institute. He also taught the first visual education course at the Matalana Cultural Centre and the ceramics course for artisans from Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Niassa. He worked as a kindergarten teacher at the Piu-Piu kindergarten in Maputo. He is a visual artist and a member of Núcleo de Arte, a founding member of the Contemporary Art Movement.
