Marta Sicurella

Marta Sicurella (Parma, 1978) lives and works in Lisbon. She studied Photography at Ar.Co, Lisbon and has a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Milan, Italy. She completed a residency at the École Nationale Superieure de la Photographie in Arles, France (2005). She attended the photography course of the Creativity and Artistic Creation Programme of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2008). In 2005 she was selected for the XII Biennial of Young Mediterranean Artists, Naples. She collaborates with Portuguese galleries and is represented in public and private collections, such as BESart and the PLMJ Foundation.
