Mário Macilau (Maputo, 1984) lives and works between Maputo and Lisbon. In 2003, Macilau began working in photography and in 2007 he launched himself as a professional photographer. His solo exhibitions include: Growing in Darkness, London (2016), The Road Not Taken, National Art Museum, Maputo (2014), Esquecidos, PLMJ Foundation (2013), Moments of Transions, Espelho da Alma Gallery, Lisbon (2010).
