Margarida Dias

Margarida Dias was born in Lisbon (1966), where she still lives and works. She studied photography at Ar.Co and was later invited to continue teaching at the same institution. She also taught photography at the Institute of Arts and Crafts at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. At the same time, she continues to work as a professional photographer, collaborating with newspapers, advertising agencies, design and architecture studios. Since 2002, she has also been the photographer for the D. Maria II National Theatre. With 20 solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions, she is represented in both public and private collections.
