Manuel Valente Alves

Manuel Valente Alves (Lisbon, 1955) is a Portuguese artist, doctor, and researcher.
His artistic practice often combines video, photography, and installation. He has participated in group exhibitions including Sessão Contínua at CAM - Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon (1998); Andar nas Nuvens, Abel Salazar House-Museum, Porto (2019); Diferença 40 Anos.1979-2019, Galeria Diferença, Lisbon (2019). His work is included in the collections of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the PLMJ Foundation.
