Luísa Cunha (Lisbon, 1949) lives and works in Lisbon. She holds a degree in Germanic philology from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon and completed an advanced sculpture course at Ar.Co, Lisbon. She has been exhibiting since 1994, including at the following venues and events: the 14th Biennale of Sydney, Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, Casa da Cerca – Centro de Arte Contemporânea, Casa da Música, Culturgest, Fidelidade Arte, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the EDP Foundation, the PLMJ Foundation, Serralves Foundation, Fundación la Caixa, Galeria Municipal do Porto, LisboaPhoto 2005, MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, Museu Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva, Serralves Museum, as well as various independent spaces. She represented Portugal at the 34th São Paulo Biennale.
