José Crespo Mendes de Almeida

Mendes de Almeida, who trained at the Instituto Português de Fotografia in Lisbon, has a well-established career in photography, with notable individual and group exhibitions. His solo shows include Ao Lado at Biblioteca Orlando Ribeiro (2006), Portas da Mente at Galeria de S. Bento (2008), De Dentro at Museu das Telecomunicações (2009), ID at Pavilhão 28 of Hospital Júlio de Matos (2009), and Bancos do Conhecimento at Galeria Corrente D’Arte (2010). He has participated in group exhibitions such as Ruído (2011) and World Tour of Contemporary Art in London.
