Jorge Simão (Luanda, 1969) graduated in photography from the IADE in Lisbon. He was part of the team at Semanário Expresso, where he worked until 2013, specialising in reportage and portrait photography. He has travelled the world with his lens, capturing stories of life and food for Semanário Expresso, Notícias Magazine, Evasões and Volta ao Mundo. He is currently passing on the knowledge he has gained throughout his life to students at Restart and the World Academy, where he teaches classes in portraiture, reportage, food photography and portfolio building.
