Jorge Abade

Jorge Abade (Oyonnax, Lyon, 1974) lives and works in Porto, where he graduated in Painting from the Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto. In the same year, he was awarded an Erasmus scholarship at the École Nationale dès Beaux Arts and took part in the public art workshop as part of the Public Art Observatory's international programme in Barcelona. He is an assistant professor of Drawing on the Sound and Image course at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto, where he is studying for a doctorate in Artistic Studies (Visual Arts).
