Gemuce

Gemuce (Quelimane, Mozambique, 1963) lives and works in Maputo. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Maputo, the Kiev State Institute of Fine Arts and the Ukrainian Academy of Fine Arts in Kiev. He is a founding member of the Contemporary Art Movement of Mozambique. He teaches at the Higher Institute for Art and Culture in Maputo. He has been exhibiting since the early 1990s.
