Délio Jasse

Angola

Délio Jasse (1980, Luanda) lives and works in Milan.
In his photographic work, he frequently interweaves found images with traces of past lives (such as found photographs and family albums), approaching the concept of latent image versus memory. He uses analogue processes to subvert the reproducibility of the photographic medium, creating variations and subtle interventions through painting, liquid light, gold leafing, and collage.
