Catarina Leitão

Catarina Leitão (Stuttgart, Germany, 1970) has a doctorate in Contemporary Art from the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra. She has an MA from Hunter College City University of New York and a degree in Painting from FBAUL.
She has been teaching at the Caldas da Rainha School of Art and Design since 2011 and at the University of Coimbra College of Arts since 2024.
Her solo exhibitions include: 2023, Naturfatura, Galeria Carlos Carvalho, Lisbon; 2020, As possibilidades de uma paisagem, Galeria do Parque, Vila Nova da Barquinha; 2019, Orografias, Giefarte, Lisbon; 2016, Dendrograma, MCO Arte Contemporânea, Porto.
