Bruno Santos was born in Lisbon (1968), where he lives and works as a photographer and teacher. He has a degree in Photography and Visual Culture from the IADE and a Master's in Photographic Studies. He researches the artistic practice of photography around the everyday landscape, as well as the photo book. He was commissioned to write the photo essay for the catalogue of the EDP New Artists Award (2011) and has published portfolios in Artes e Leilões (P), Dna (P), Camera Austria (A), Dayfour magazine (UK) and Purple Fashion (F).
He has been exhibiting since 2002. Solo exhibitions: Forest area, Biblioteca do Arquivo Fotográfico, Lisbon; The Idea of South, Museu da Imagem, Braga; Another Championship, Fnac; Dual, Encontros da Imagem, Braga; Epifanias, Arquivo Fotográfico Municipal de Lisboa.
