Beatriz Albuquerque (Porto, 1978) lives and works between Porto and New York. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Porto and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2004, she participated in the workshop Cleaning the House at the Galician Centre for Contemporary Art, led by Marina Abramović in Germany, where she was invited to join the Independent Performance Group in New York.
