Ana Jotta

Ana Jotta (Lisbon, 1946), visual artist and painter, lives and works in Lisbon. She studied Fine Arts at the Escola Superior de Belas-Artes de Lisboa and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre, in Brussels. In the 1970s, she worked as an actress and set designer in theatre productions, and in the 1980s, she focused on the visual arts.
She has been exhibiting regularly since 1980. Her work has been shown in foundations and institutions such as: Le Crédac, Ivry-sur-Seine, France; Etablissement d'en face, Brussels; and Malmo Konsthall, Malmo.
