Ana Catarina Marto

Catarina Marto (1977) lives and works in Lisbon.
She has a degree in Fine Arts from the Université Paris 8, a Master's in Museology from the FCSH-UNL and is a PhD candidate in Artistic Studies at the FCSH-UNL.
Since 2012, she has been developing artistic and curatorial projects in collaboration with Raquel Pedro.
She has participated in exhibitions such as Cenad'arte and Anteciparte, and has been a guest artist in residence at CEAC and the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Her interests focus on the plant and the absence of organic matter in contemporary society.
