Álvaro Rosendo

Álvaro Rosendo (Lisbon, 1960) lives and works in Lisbon. He studied Communication Design at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. He was a member of the founding group of the Galeria Monumental in 1985 and co-founder of the Maumaus School of Photography in 1991.
Since 1982 he has exhibited regularly, both individually and collectively, in Portugal, Spain, France and Switzerland. His work is represented in collections such as the Pedro Cabrita Reis Collection, the EDP/MAAT Foundation, the PLMJ Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
