Alberto Picco

Alberto Picco (Buenos Aires, 1950) lives and works in Lisbon. Since the 1990s, his work has focused on the investigation of territory and memory, considering its occupation, use, transformation, and/or abandonment. His formal approach to photography is a distinct advantage, highlighting the singularity with which he captures the triviality of reality, imparting his characteristic impartiality and aesthetic sensibility. The extensive body of work produced in this context has established a coherent and referential discursive capacity.
