Adriano Miranda

Adriano Miranda (Aveiro, 1966) is a photographer who studied at the Cooperativa Árvore (Porto) and Ar.Co (Lisbon). He has worked for the newspaper Público since 1996 and was its photo editor from 2001-2005. He teaches at various institutions, including IPCI-Porto and the School of Journalism. He has participated in international exhibitions and published several books, such as Shaken Not Stirred and 52 stories. Winner of the 2017 Gazeta Prize and the European Anti-Poverty Network Prize, he is known for his photojournalism and portraiture.
