Abraão Vicente (Assomada, Cape Verde, 1980) lives and works in Praia, the capital of his home country. He currently serves as Minister of Culture and Creative Industries and Minister of the Sea. A graduate in Sociology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, he is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, self-taught photographer, and television presenter, with experience in journalism, alongside his political career. He has participated in international exhibitions, with his art featured in private collections.
