Abílio Leitão (Lisbon, 1960) graduated in photography from the Portuguese Institute of Photography. In 1995, he began working as a freelance photographer in various areas of photography, such as portraiture, fashion and reportage. In 2005, he shot his first documentary for RTP2. Since then he has been working in the field of documentary and photography, including the documentary on the 20th anniversary of the PLMJ Foundation. He has been exhibiting since 1989.
